To better serve you, we are excited to enhance our Group Fitness Program! As part of this new system, members must check in at the front desk for all group fitness and cycling classes.  Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

 

If you have not tried TRX, come check it out! This class consists of functional exercises for strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability using ones own body weight for resistance and the TRX Suspension Straps. Click the "Class Schedules" drop down menu under the Group Fitness tab for more details.

 

Bailey's is proud to offer over 1,800 group fitness classes per month for all 15 of our locations.  We are pleased to have the most experienced and versatile group fitness instructors anywhere in the Jacksonville, Brunswick, Gainesville, Palatka and St. Augustine areas.  Our group fitness trainers are skilled instructors and motivators who will guide you through some of the most fun, challenging, and rewarding workouts you will ever experience.  Our instructors are able to teach to any fitness level and work to make every participant comfortable in the group fitness class.

 

The health benefits of aerobic exercise are numerous.  People who regularly attend classes can improve cardiovascular health, reduce body fat, increase flexibility and strengthen muscles.  Other benefits include increased energy levels, decreased blood pressure and cholesterol levels, strengthening of bones, improved posture and a lower level of stress.  Group fitness classes also provide social interaction between members, which in turn increases long-term dedication to an exercise program.

We are proud to offer a new form of Group Fitness called Small Group Fitness Training.  At Bailey's, we keenly understand the values of learning to assess fitness needs, facing challenges, as well as learning correct form, behavior, and adaptations to physical limitations in a 'one-on-one' personal training formula; however, the reality is, financially, this may not be an option.

 

Fortunately, small group fitness training classes may be just the solution you are looking for.  With small group fitness training, participants still receive the benefit of one on one personal attention, but for a fraction of the cost.  Small Group fitness training works by allowing our members and non-members to partner with three to eight individuals of like or similar needs allowing our clients to pair training goals with family, friends, or coworkers.  These small group training classes, as mentioned are at an additional cost to the member and non-member and are not included in standard membership packages.

 

Lastly, for real fitness enthusiasts who are looking for that exceptional workout, or for beginners who need special attention, we now offer Master Classes for a fee.  These classes are separate from our regular group fitness schedule and are fee based.  A Master Class schedule is available at our front desk for those who are interested in participating. Like our regular group fitness classes, participants must sign in at our front desk to attend the class.
